Jennifer Stinson is the owner and founder of Dirty Paws Lounge, and is proud to be the head of the Dirty Paws team. An animal enthusiast her whole life, Jennifer has had dogs, cats, birds and other little critters. She is very passionate about animals, but especially dogs. After years of dreaming to work with animals, Jennifer left the corporate world and, in 2012, opened the doors of Dirty Paws Lounge.
Currently, Jennifer shares her heart with her dog, Abigail. Abigail is the fur baby of the Stinson household with her humans wrapped around her little paw! Jennifer’s goal is to make sure that all of her furry visitors are cared for and loved just as she would for her very own.
Suzannah Skalsky is a professional dog groomer here at Dirty Paws Lounge. She has excelled in her six years of experience, proving to be compassionate and providing the highest quality groom for your pet. As a groomer, Suzannah feels it is important to maintain her knowledge, as well as explore new trends in the grooming industry. To do so, she has attended continuing education workshops becoming certified in: animal health and safety; small animal CPR and first aid. Dirty Paws is proud to have her!
She has availability for appointments Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Cindy Ford has 25 years’ experience in training dogs and has participated in many dog sports including agility, obedience, conformation, tracking, herding and protection. For 9 years, she trained dogs for Paws With A Cause training service for people with physical disabilities and hearing impairments. Cindy enjoys various types of training seminars and has a great passion for teaching. She loves helping people learn new ways of working with their dogs so they can fully enjoy their pets.
Cindy has worked for conventional veterinarians and currently works for an alternative vet where they concentrate on pet nutrition. Cindy is also currently a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and a current AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
In her training classes, Cindy will teach you to use clicker training or operant conditioning. The use of food and toys during class is encouraged to keep your dog motivated, attentive, and happy. Cindy has trained her own dogs with this method and loves to see their positive attitude and willingness to train.
Jennifer, Suzannah, Cindy and the entire staff here at Dirty Paws Lounge love our jobs! Our #1 priority is to provide a fun, safe, loving, healthy environment for your dog to learn, socialize, and, above all else, be a dog!
We run an intimate location in order to form bonds and relationships with each of our visitors – canine and human. Fully understanding and knowing each dog at our daycare allows for the perfect pack of friends to romp, run, and play with. We strive to form bonds and relationships with our visitors in order to give your dog the best doggie daycare experience each and every time. To provide this, we have a few pesky rules to follow.
Our Lounge offers 3,200 sq. ft. of indoor play areas PLUS 5,000 sq. ft. of outdoor play space. Almost 2 acres of room to run and play with friends filled with toys, ropes, agility equipment, kiddie pools, balls galore – sounds like doggie heaven!
